Computer training
  • Basic computer literacy:  
    Participants acquire basic computer skills necessary to operate in Windows environment.  These skills include: using the mouse and the keyboard, creating, copying, and saving files, using the CD-ROM drive, etc.
  • Basic home or office work:
    Learners in small groups personalized training in MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
  • Basic Internet use: 
    This program covers basic uses of the Internet:  education, research, e-mail, and job search.
  • Basic technical training:
    For the technically oriented, this is a hands-on learning experience in computer troubleshooting and repair in a small group atmosphere.  Interested participants may work toward the A+ Certification exam.
