AARP Day of Service - 2007 |
On May 10, 2007 about 25 AARP staff members arrived at the premises of Living Wages to volunteer their services as part of their organization's involvement with the local community. This is the third consecutive year that AARP has included Living Wages in this corporate program. AARP staff landscaped the grounds, pruned trees, painted rooms, and helped build a picnic table and flower boxes. It was a day of manual activities, camaraderie and helping out a community-based organization such as Living Wages. Pictures of the event are in "Other/Photos".
